Children's Garden of LaBelle News
OFF THE DIRECTOR'S DESK
April is stress awareness month. We all know moms and dads get stressed out and need some "me" time. But kids can get stressed out too. Make sure they have plenty of time to de-stress with both indoor and outdoor activities that engage their minds and bodies. Talk to them frequently to check in and make sure they're really doing okay. Slow down and savor time with your family with important, yet simple, ways to make the most of your quality time.
THANK YOU!
Thank you to Lynn Moore from BeSmart for attending our parent meeting as the guest speaker to help educate parents on gun safety around children. Thank you to the parents who attended to this meeting too.

NATIONAL AUTISM AWARENESS DAY
April 2nd is National Autism Awareness Day. We will wear blue EVERY FRIDAY in April as part of the Light It Up Blue campaign to help raise awareness and support to Autism.
EARTH DAY!
Earth Day is April 22nd. Our classes will be learning about ways we can help protect the Earth this month. Earth Day is a very important day for everyone who inhabits this planet. Every day, we are becoming more aware of the affects of global warming. Teaching your kids the importance of Earth Day is the first step, as they will be our legacy and the caretakers of our planet in years to come.
Teachers will talk to their students about the importance of Earth Day, recycling, reducing pollution, conserving water and electricity to help keep our environment healthy for years to come!
Parents, April 16th-20th please bring in clean recyclables for the children to use in the classroom when they are learning about Earth Day.
