MOVING UP - AUGUST 10TH
Just when you are feeling comfortable with your child's teacher.............well, your child turns a year older and they are ready to move to another classroom. Where has the year gone????????
It is important to give yourself and your child a chance to get comfortable with the classroom and to bond with the new teachers. This process won't always happen instantly. As everyone has their own unique personality, you will probably find that the new teacher may do things a little differently than your child's previous teacher. Understand that this part of the transition process of leaving one teacher and moving on to another. Give time for the new relationship to develop among you, your child, and the new teacher as you adjust to a different style.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER
SNOBALL DAYS
Southern Snoballs will make a stop at the center on Thursday, August 3rd at 10am. Remember to bring $2 so that your child can enjoy the tasty treat with his friends and teachers.
SHOES, SHOES, SHOES
We ask that your child wear CLOSED TOED shoes to school. This is a safety issue. Children are more likely to trip or fall when wearing sandals or shoes that do not properly fit.
MEDICAL FORMS
Remember to ask for up-dated medical forms when your child receives immunizations or yearly physicals. It is imperative that we keep our files current. (A friendly reminder will be on the Check -in Computer) These forms can be faxed to 239-267-1825 from your pediatrician as copies are now accepted.
