All six of our centers participate in the Quality Rating Improvement System (QRIS) that is used by the Early Learning Coalition to improve and communicate the level of quality in early childhood programs. We are pleased to announce that our centers have received 4 and 5 star ratings!

The Early Learning Coalition evaluates early childhood programs based on the following six categories:

  • Professional Development and Staff Qualifications
  • Learning Environment and Classroom Interactions
  • Screening, Assesment and Curriculum
  • Family and Community Relationships 
  • Professional Responsibility

Traumatic events and natural disasters have a significant impact on all of our lives but with a few easy steps you can be better prepared for these situations. We took some advice from Patrick Mularioni, M.D., at John Hopkins All Children’s Hospital and Sandra Bailey, Ph.D. CFLE, Family & Human Development Specialist, on helping parents help their children overcome the stress, disruption and anxiety created from events such as hurricanes, loss of loved ones or car accidents.
