Brown & Brown Insurance of Southwest Florida presented the second annual Par-Tee for Tots charity golf tournament to benefit Child Care of Southwest Florida on Friday, Oct. 27 at West Bay Golf Club in Estero. The four-person scramble raised more than $28,000 for Child Care of Southwest Florida, whose mission is to enhance the lives of children and their families through quality early childhood education and related serviceds to promote health and school readiness. A very special thank you to all of our sponsors who helped make this event a huge success!
Florida SouthWestern State College’s School of Education hosted a Pop-Up Adventure Play from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4. The event was free and open to children of all ages. Pop-Up Adventure Play events encourage children to use their imaginations and utilize use everyday materials such cardboard boxes, paper towel tubes and art materials.
Florida SouthWestern State College’s (FSW) School of Education will hold a Pop-Up Adventure Play from 1-4 p.m., on Saturday, Nov. 4, in the Practice Field (across from the Lockmiller Child Care Center) Thomas Edison Campus, Fort Myers. Pop-up Adventure Play is free and open to children of all ages.
