Valentine’s Day
The center will be having a social on this day. Staff and students are encouraging the parents to visit the classroom and get to know another child and their family this day. Caring is sharing!
Around the Center
For the month students are showing interest in dinosaurs so they will be exploring different types of dinosaurs, how they lived and what they ate.
Preschoolers will be making a very special Valentine’s cards and a “special project” for their parents
The two year olds will be involved in making hearts for their parents.
The toddler class is focusing on Dr. Seuss book about showing love and they will make a special board to display in the class of their art work.
President's Day
Monday, February 20th Our center will be CLOSED for our Annual In-Service Day.
In honor of President's day we've put together few fun facts about presidents:
- George Washington was the only president unanimously elected.
- John Tyler had 15 children.
- Abraham Lincoln often stored things like letters and documents in his tall stove-piped hat.
- Franklin D. Roosevelt was the first president to appear on television.
