Harlem Academy Day Care Center

Harlem Academy Day Care is located at 944 Harlem Academy Avenue in Clewiston, Florida and our hours of operation are 6:30am until 6:00pm. Our small town location resonates through the warm and friendly environment created in our center. We serve children from 6 weeks to 7 years of age.

Our teachers and staff are highly qualified with credentials ranging from CDA to Bachelor Degrees. Staff members are continually growing through professional development courses, educational workshops and in-service held throughout the year. A majority of our staff members have been employed with the center for many years and use their knowledge and experience to enhance the learning environment.

Harlem Academy is dedicated to excellence and continually striving to improve our standards and curriculum. We are NAC Accredited, and use the Creative Curriculum in our pre school age programs. The Creative Curriculum for preschoolers emphasizes a child centered approach to instruction through a research based program. Children are actively engaged in exploration and discovery of developmentally appropriate objectives through their environment and classroom activities.

We offer Head Start, VPK, School Readiness, and full and part time care for children ages 3-5 as well as infant, toddler, and after school programs. Hours of operation vary by program; please contact our office for further information. Programs are income based and designed to assist the family as a whole through partnership with parents and families.
