FAMILY ENGAGEMENT

Fruit Sparkler

Fruit-SparklersSparklers are super fun especially at celebratory parties but they’re not appropriate for kids of all ages! You can bring the fun of sparklers to your food table with these fun fruit sparklers for the kids and everyone to enjoy. It’s a great way to introduce a healthy snack in an exciting way!

They’re so easy to put together, all you’ll need is watermelon, fresh blueberries, a star cookie cutter (to make things extra festive) and skewers.

This is another easy recipe so you can have the kids get in on the fun of assembling them too.

Hurricanes & Bad Weather

Hurricane season begins June 1st, and we want to be prepared. During the summer months if a hurricane is approaching, you need to listen to your radios for closings.  Child Care of Southwest Florida follows the Lee County School Board Bad Weather Closing Schedule.  Please tune into your local weather station.  If school is called off or closes early the center will follow suit.  Please be prepared for alternative care in the event of bad weather closures.
