Did you know that child care is not just babysitting? It's much more than that. Children who initiate their learning are more engaged in the work they do and are more interested in learning. Through a play-based curriculum, children learn problem-solving skills, emergent math and literacy, vocabulary, and sequencing, all through exploring topics that interest them. These characteristics should be considered when you're searching for the best place for your child to spend his or her early learning days. We are proud to interchange between indoor and outdoor classrooms which display soothing fountains, inviting gardens, and a Natural Playscape for an optimal education setting.
Our Messina Center is home to a community garden with fresh vegetables, which has become a full circle learning tool for our children. They have learned about sustainability, healthy food, teamwork, and the importance of fruits and vegetables. By becoming engaged in nature, the children are able to see how bountiful surroundings contribute to a healthy diet and a healthy mind. The Messina Center is a nurturing, supportive environment with a passionate staff that loves to see their students thrive. Support and financial planning for our center is available to parents based largely on income.
