Creative Curriculum

Creative Curriculum, a research based nationally recognized curriculum, allows teachers to individualize the curriculum to meet each child's learning needs at every age. We feel all children are born learners and, if provided with time, opportunity, appropriate materials, choice, and support from responsive, well trained adults, they will build a strong foundation for all future learning while they are with us during the early childhood years.

Creative Curriculum emphasizes a child centered approach to instruction through a research based program. Children are actively engaged in exploration and discovery of developmentally appropriate objectives that will prepare them for school readiness through their environment and classroom activities.

The child-centered approach allows teachers to guide children through in-depth studies and meaningful work based on the children's interests and needs, making the learning very relevant to all children. At the heart of children's learning is active play. Children learn by first-hand observation, hands-on experiences, intentional teaching and personal reflection.
