Highly Trained Staff

Staff members have educational backgrounds that include Child Development Associates Credentials, Associates and Bachelors Degrees in Early Childhood Education and other related fields. Each director and other key staff have earned the Florida Directors Credential. All staff receive training and maintain current certificates in First Aid and CPR.

New staff members receive 45 hours of initial training including recognizing child abuse, standards precautions, and child development.

Teachers attend at least 20 hours annually of in-service training in early childhood/child development related to the age group of children they work with.

Directors attend a minimum of 30 hours annually of training in early childhood/child development and topics related to program management, leadership, and supervision.

High quality training is provided to continually improve the classroom practice and enhance the environment of the classrooms and the program.
