This will be our fifth year collecting socks for the residents.  The staff at Page Field have also asked the children for scarves. Children will be busy creating Holiday Cards to give to the residents.  On Wednesday, December 19th, the children will go from room to room delivering Holiday Cards and the gift of warm socks and scarves as they sing Holiday songs through the hallways. Please help us reach our goal of 300 pairs of warm socks and scarves, to keep the feet and hearts of our elderly warm. HOLIDAY HEALTH AND SAFETY TIPS

1. Wash your hands often. Keeping your hands clean is one of the most important steps you can take to avoid getting sick and spreading germs to others. Wash your hands with running water and soap for at least 20 seconds.

2. Mange stress. Get enough sleep. Do not over manage and over commit. Get support from family and friends.

3. Handle and prepare food safely. As you prepare holiday meals, keep you and your family safe from food-related illness. Wash hands and surfaces often. Refrigerate left-overs promptly.

4. Eat healthy and be active. With balance and moderation, you can enjoy the holidays the healthy way. Find ways to be active such as dancing around the room to your favorite holiday music.
