Messina 2018 Ms. Angele Dossous

Hello Everyone,

My name is Angele Dossous, however I go by “Angie”. I am the new teacher for the Dolphins. A little about me, I was born and raised in Miami Florida and decided to move down to Fort Myers 3 years ago. I have obtained my Associates in Arts and Bachelors of Science in Child and Youth Studies and hopes to pursue my Masters. I have experience working with children and I enjoy every bit of it. I am a very easy going, friendly and determined person. This class will be filled with lots of great fun and learning. I can only imagine what will be in store for the dolphins. I look forward to getting to know the children as well as the parents.

Daylight saving time is just around the corner and that means one thing: It’s time to change the clocks.  Make sure you set your clock back by an hour on November 4th.

1. Stop making excuses for your kids. Let your kids learn from their mistakes.

2. Make sure they are doing their work. Now is the time to learn responsibility. Hold your child accountable and follow through.

3. Cut out the distractions. Limit technology such as T.V., IPads and computers and get outdoor exercise, socialize and read books.

4. Model good habits at home. Kids learn from parents first. Be engaged, concerned and aware. Model kind behavior and good manners.

5. Work with their Teachers not against them. Working together we can support your child to reach his/her highest potential.
